The Reason
Running any business today is more 5 to 9 than 9 to 5. There are more
things to do than can really be done in a day. Then, on top of that,
directors and the managers of businesses have many additional onerous
fiduciary duties and responsibilities to perform; from ensuring efficient
financial systems, internal controls and legal compliance, to appropriate
methods of engaging with customers. Not to mention meeting the obligations
of all tax and national insurance systems.
Any business is obliged to
- Establish and maintain robust business and financial systems.
- Ensure business compliance with UK and/or European employment law
and employment tax legislation.
- Ensure compliance with UK and European company law, statutory regulations
and company secretarial matters.
- Engage with customers under appropriately structured and compliant
business contracts.
- Meet the business obligations and responsibilities with regard
to Corporation Tax, Value Added Tax, PAYE and National Insurance.
How you manage these responsibilities, and the companies you employ
to assist you, is a decision worthy of careful consideration > |
